I have a 73 formula that has cables attached to the subframe upper control arm bolts. They are about a quarter inch in diameter with an eyelet at each end. There is one on each side. Anybody know what they are for?

Did the car previously have a CB or HAM radio equipment installed? It sounds like somebody installed some additional grounding straps.

After looking at them again, I wonder if someone at one time had put these on to prevent the motor from twisting during hard acceleration. I will have to post some pictures when I get a chance.
