If this is the wrong place for this question, mods please move it.
There is a an interesting thread dicussion in one other forum regarding insurance policies, so this begs the question. If you've ever made a claim with one of the many collector insurance companies, have you had any problems, or been denied? Successful claims? Please note insurance agency and whether is was appraised value or agreed upon value for reference. Thanks.

I have American Collectors Ins. on my two GTO's. Four yrs. ago I made a claim on the 65 . I had a headliner the was ruined by mice(2 holes). Called them , they said just get get it replaced and submit bill ($453). I had check in hand a week later. The GTO's are insured for agreed value. You will need to get a appraisal on them. You can increase the value over the yrs without getting another appraisal. Hope this helps.

Lost my 67 Firebird 400 due to a flood in 2001. Car was insured for 15K with JC Taylor. They picked the car up next day and mailed me a check 3 days later. Have my 66 LeMans insured for 30K with them now.
