Well it doesn't happen often but I was the proudest father today when my 11 Yr old son helped me take the 455 down. Here he is removing the Cam.

A Junior Motorhead in the making. My son and I have always shared our passion for cars.
A great way for a father and son to have a "great day in the garage".

Any day in the garage is a good day, to share it with a son must be awsome. My girls would help sometimes in the garage when they were little. Now I need to move close to Virginia where my grandkids are, I'm sure my grandsons would love to help. They help their dad all the time. Geeez I'm getting old lol....

very cool! looks like the hook is set. my dad did so by taking me to tri-city dragway and always buying the "pit pass" for the extra dollar so i could get right on top of the racers and their cars.

I've got one of those (both a 455 AND an 11 Y.O. son)........
He was too young when I rebuilt my 455, but I have a '90 F250 with a 351 that needs rebuilding, and he is all excited about joining me on that project! |
