Engine assembly checklist
At one time, we had a checklist for the re - assembly of engines. Do we still have that anywhere?
Someone posted it awhile back.....year's ago....(Maybe Old Man Taylor?) and I would like to print it out again, as so I don't forget anything....again......The darn oil pump shaft!  Any luck we still have it?

I think it would also be a great idea to have a checklist of simple modifications that are proven to be beneficial when building a engine. Examples of such would be:
Tapping oil gallery holes in front of block for pipe plugs. Drilling a .030 hole in rear plug to squirt oil on dist. gear Replacing steel check ball in oil pump with smaller ball and shimming spring Clearancing water pump divide plate for proper cooling... Any other "good to doos" that members care to share...? Chris |

That's the one. I didn't look at it close enough to see if it had the later refinements. Lee in Texas originally did it and I just added some details.

Yep, that's it.
I can't write in Jim's book. This is much easier to use and to double check as you go. I do have the book though and it is a great resource. Thanks again.
