Question change wing weatherstripping 68'

Has anyone changed the weatherstripping on the wing windows? Do you have to take the door apart to do so? Can you do it without taking the side window out?
Any advice would be greratly appreciated.

vent window frame has to come out to be disassemblied so wing glass can come out and to get frame out of door, door glass has to be removed, and to get door glass out, the door panel and regulator has to be removed.

Did your what? I'm not sure we're all talking about the same "weatherstripping".

Okay- I guess I can't visualize the vent window assembly details on that vehicle. I was picturing the molded rubber needing to be riveted to the vent window frame, like most fifties and sixties cars, which requires removal of the frame from the door.
