I visited a farm today with alot of old cars that have been sitting for a long time.
Among them were 2 69 Gran Prixs,5 69 GTO's and 1 70 Judge. It is just a shell with front fenders and is quite rough. How many Oshawa built Judges were there? What are the options listed on the cowl tag? Would there be a market for something like this? I am not at all interested in a project this large and want to know what something like this would sell for. Thanks |

That is a good find...the Judge sticker on the fender looks a little high I think...any other indication it is a true Judge? A PHS would be needed of course.
The Burgundy on Black color combo is (was) nice. What are the '69 GTOs like? Any other pictures? Eric H.

Automatic, console, spoilers... the fender sticker on the pass inner fender is the Canada sticker... isn't it?

Yeah, I guess that "WT1" on the trim tag qualifies as another indication that this is probably a true Judge. I'll shut up now.
![]() Is that typical of Oshawa-built Judges to have that code on the data tag? American plant Judges don't have that right? Eric H.

I did get the VIN
The options that I didn't know were the D80 and D55 The car is pretty rough, quarters are rusty, rear bumper is rusted through,no back window in it so my guess is that the floors are rusty. The glovebox door was there but the Judge emblem was gone. No drivetrain at all in the car. Here is a couple of pics of the 69's I have a couple more that I am having trouble downsizing. One is of a Carousel Red car |

The burgandy Judge is a winner. I'd at least like to have one of the 69s.

Ask around, I bet the drivetrain is close by.

Arrarently the engines from these cars are sitting not too far from the cars but it is a shady area and still has about 3 feet of snow on it,we will check around after some of the snow has melted. It was a good fun day checking those out,it's amazing what's lying around on some of these farms, you'd just drive by and not have a clue what is there. |

I know the guy that owns those cars. I have been there a few years ago and purchased the engine from the 69 judge. I'm currently inquiring on purchasing that car from him. He does or at least did sell parts from those cars. Wow how the cars have rotted worse from when I saw them . About 10 years ago I kicked myself for not buying a matched numbers ra4 4 speed car from him. At that time too many people found out about the cars and he ended up selling the ram4 car and a matched numbers ragtop. I didn't think that 70 judge was real at the time but didn't check numbers either. Hear is a pic of the judge way back when. Last edited by 3goats; 06-01-2008 at 02:39 AM. |

Your pictures look alot nicer.
It's amazing what a few years will do. He has a nice 69 RA III body with original drivetrain and alot of extra parts that go with it but wants alot of money for it,quite a bit too much in my opinion. Was an interesting day. It's funny, these shells we wouldn't have paid any attention to 15 or 20 years ago we all get excited about today. |

I saw that car also. I think it has a 428 in it if I remember correctly. The parts he has are worth gold. But I'm keeping quiet on revealing what exactly they are. I wouldn't want him to get bombarded with calls.

Did you notice if the 69 judge still has the vin? I'm hoping it does so I can someday mate the engine back to car if I can purchase it from him. |

3 goats,
Hope you get that judge since you have the original motor. What is the color combo of the Ram Air III body you guys are talking about? Goathead455, In your one picture, is that a Red/White Vinyl Top 69 GTO? It does not look to be in that bad of shape.
