Will this work in my 8.2 rear on my 68 Bird? I want to go from a 2.56 open to a 3.08 posi. I don't think they make 3.08 or 3.23 RP new, do they? If not, I may have to settle for a used pair, any help there? Thanks.

Yes, it will, although, I sold this posi long ago. I believe you are correct on the new 3.08 and 3.23 gears. What I have available at the moment:

New US Gear 3.36 ring and pinion, 8.2 BOP $250
Rebuilt factory 4 pinion HD Safe-T-Track Posi for 3.36 $475

I have a used set of 3.08 in a 66 A body Rear. There was some rust on some of the teeth. $100. I could image for you.

I may have one or two other rears coming in that may have parts to offer. If that happens, I will send a PM.
