nice car but whats with the red-white-blue theme?
to me thats ruined all the good work underneath. Im guessing its a YO car? |

I love the '69 TA's myself, but I doubt I'll ever be able to afford one. This car looks good but I'd have to agree that the red floor pans are rather ugly, I wonder if they were trying to make it look like red oxide primer? Also for a car over $60,000 they could at least put the heater wire grommet in the firewall and replace the PCV valve in the passenger valve cover with the correvt vent tube.

His note about 520 built with automatic is incorrect. I think it was 114 cars with M40 THM.

Phew!!! Lots af stuff wrong for that knd of money IMO Wrong paint on grilles,No arrow on fron bumber,Wrong exhaust tail pipes,Floor color,Wrong fenders probably because they have the metal emblems,no Pwr steering cool line,ETC

didnt really take the time to pick it over as the red belly did me in for further examination.
Glenn do you think this was one of the cars you saw many years ago in Ga? I think the guy had 3 of them at time and one was an auto a/c car. |

That late of a build date also had the Formula wheel. The red oxide primer was only used on the 70 up Norwood cars.

haha you may be in the penalty box but until you have a bright red first warning attached to your posts your still good to go, by the way i didnt see anything wrong w the thread about critquing your car.

Wife and I stopped in and saw this guys collection sometime back. If I recall I saw some paper signs by the roadside that said Musclecar shroom or something. I arrived and it was a buisness space that housed about 15 cars and 60's 70's period stuff. One thing I did notice that he had stacks of Year One catalogs that he was asking $5.00 for. I dont recall the guy being very friendly..I split pretty quick.
