As a general rule of part interchange, I usually interchange parts that look similar and I know will work. For example 1965-66.

Search the posts here. I am almost positive there has been a thread similar.

Rattcrusher455 is a really good friend of mine so I'm posting this picture on his behalf.
This was taken quite awhile ago and the Bonneville is in need of some work to return it to its former glory. He has some very good plans for the Poncho.

You will struggle to find Power Quarter Vent windows to suit a '65-'68 Pontiac but all you need to find is an equivilent year CADILLAC, BUICK or OLDS with this option and use the motors only.

Your vent windows do NOT need to be changed out. They are identical whether Power or Manual.

Of course you need to find some of the loom as well but that's the easy part.

For the switch, just find a power window switch out of a mid 60's Camaro or Firebird. I think they are reproduced and available from Classic Industries. The only difference is the button tabs go up & down rather than side to side. I put a Camaro switch in my '66 GP after the original switch started giving me aggravation. Works identically and you would need to find a picky judge who deemed it "incorrect"!

Nice car. Let us know how you get on.

Howdy, thanks it will be a real jewel some day, my good friend Jim Butcher gave me a real sweet heart deal on this bonne, It should be called a "family deal " if you know what I mean. Today she has a 1969 poncho wt 400 with 6x heads with the 48's on the shelf, long branch manifolds, 400 trans, 323 posi, 8 lugs, power windows, tilt and a/c. a awesome foundation for a few tweeking upgrades !!!!. Jimbo ownes the silver mid 11 second catalina Featured in Hpp mag 1.5 years ago(talk about a 4,000 plus pound, pump fuel rocket) !!!!!! he finally got that heavy thiing to pull the left side tire up off the ground at the track !!!!! I dont think i will be as fast as him but I got a 70 455 H/O looking for a home and a ready to go # 's 66 tripower that should be enough engine for the bonne.. All I need is a few small pieces for the four speed conversion and I will be cooking in grease !!!!!!!!! It should be a blast to drive. It still will need some minor body work to get some small areas that just need to be cleaned up a bit, but let it be known Jimbo really did give me a diamond in the rough and it will be impossible to say thank you enough Jimbo !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Rattcrusher: You make me blush. Even that "sweet heart deal" doesn't make up for all that you have done for me.
Mucho gracias, mi compadre.
Jim
