Default Fastest Pontiac Powered G-Body

I know this is not me. But can someone tell me what the fastest Pontiac powered G-body car has run in the 1/4 mile? I don't care if it was N/A, NOS, back half, radial ture, or whatever. Just a time slip.

Default BADDEST PONCHO- POWERED G-BODY............

I think Greg Getknect (sp ?) went some 8.60's with their Pontiac powered Olds 442. I think that was on ten-fives, too.
I imagine that "little" half-inch spacer underneath that dominator was getting pretty frosty.LOL.

I have a NOS double cross plate system that maybe installed someday but i think 8.60's is more than I could spray with a 455 block. Even with my weight of 2865 lbs.

Question

Yeah that's pretty nasty.BTW; now that we're over here in the "G" section, what's the most you've ever hit your stock block/crank with? How "resilient" is that stock cast crank?

Hit is in spray? My double cross kit is sitting in my utility closet floor. My injun is around 725 HP n/a and there is no way that I would spray this thing until there is a forged crank in it. I may pick up one at norwalk this weekend. Even if I did decide to use spray in my car it would just be for testing and the quick 16. I'm not sure I even like the idea of using nitrous. Look at what I named the car.

Default One bad GP

You ought to post some more pics of your car. It came out nice. I just bought an 87' GP a few weeks ago. Exceptionally clean car. Where did you get your hood?
Nice ride for sure!
