Default F&S /Able Auto Shippers

Due to the oppressive heat and the need to get on with a move, I'm having my car shipped to the east coast. (I also got a great deal on an airline ticket anyway.)

Able Auto quoted $1035 and then contracted with F&S out of Tucson.

The Shipper was right on time this morning, though he did use a regular trailer which meant that he had to crawl out of the driver's side window to get out once the car was loaded on the trailer, which meant some stepping on the seat, etc. He took a careful inventory of the car.

There have been some people on here that have needed towing, so I'll let you know how this company turns out. They said they'd have the car in Virginia in 7 days. If so, that's pretty impressive in my book.

I'm pleased to report that J&S came through beautifully and delivered the car on time. I have no complaints. From AZ to VA for around $1,000 in a week... not bad at all. I got them by using Able Auto Brokers. Recommended!

What were the actual miles that the vehicle was towed? Was the entire service with truck/open trailer?.....thanks....Cliff

I can't answer the first question, due to the turn around, I believe it was a fairly direct route. The entire trip was open trailer, and the car was predictably dirty, but a quick wash solved that. If you want it clean when it gets there, you'll want to go closed. Frankly, I can't afford to pay twice as much.

I have no interest whatsoever in their business, and I can only say that my experience was a good one. Good luck!
