interchange
will a 64 cast iron bell housing work on a 62 4 speed set up?
also, who ( if anybody) makes the adapter plate for mounting the newer aluminum bell to the older block? thanks sam

I'm pretty sure the setup is different between 64 and 62. You may be able to use an entire 64 setup, but mixing parts probably won't work. In case you're interested, there's a guy selling a "kit" to do the changeover on Ebay right now. It's fairly complete and actually not too bad a deal.
