Default lo/jack for stolen race cars, and trailers

Today I talk to the lo/jack rep, and technican today and there is a battery powered unit for your car trailer, as well as your race car and truck. There has been a 1,000,000 recovered vehicles from lo/jack. Maybe this would give some of you that mine try this some piece of mine while travling for the race season.

I dont have a problem with people stealing my cars, they all look like junk. Make it ugly and nobody will want it.

I wouldn't go that far. My Firebird is as ugly as they get, but I have people trying to buy it all the time.

With all the race car thefts this seems like a good idea. Will have to do like smoke detectors and remember to change the batteries periodically.

Any ideas on price for cars & trailers? The one I had before was part of the package price on my previous truck.

How much does it generally cost for a normal everyday car? Is there a monthly monitoring fee?

I agree its a good thing.. Figured since it isnt an issue for me at least I could help the thread along some with a smart a** comment.. People constantly bug me about selling my cars, even the ugly ones, but they think they can get them for $50. They could steal them with a rollback, but I would hear one of those in the driveway. Few people want to steal from an unhinged heavily armed veteran, its hazardous to their health.

For people who actually have nice race cars and trailers, I would highly recommend a tracking device of some sort. When people are stealing copper pipe and wire from houses while the owners are at work, a trailer is easy prey.

LOL That is true. I am one of the people who feel that if someone is trying to take my stuff I will use as much force to stop it as necessary.
