Default Header Collector Length Question

Hi all,

Can anyone tell me what effect a longer 3 inch collector would have on any given combination?
The system in this case is Doug's D ports to PYPES 2.5 X through Race Pro's and tales. Is there any gain using the short supplied over the 12 inch?

Thanks,
Joe

The engine is a 400 9.5:1, Crower 60241 cam, T-400 and 3.23s if you need it.

Thanks.

Give me your entire engine specs and i will run them through my pipemax and see exactly what headers would work best
