Default What Fits? 67 GTO Exhaust Quandry.

I have recently acquired a 1967 GTO with a 400/4spd. It has stock exhaust manifolds on it. The right side is cracked, and I would like to upgrade the performance anyway, so I was considering buying some d-port ram air manifolds. A friend has a set of ram air manifolds off of a 1969 ram air 3 car. They are in good shape with no cracks or stripped threads. Will they fit my 1967? If so, what are they worth? I know that the factory 1967 ram air manifolds were unique to that year GTO (three bolt flange), but are they the only ones that fit the early GTO's 1964-1967? Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks, Shiftydr.

i put the ram air exhaust manifolds on my 455 in my 68 firebird and the only issue i encountered was the oil filter mounting, I needed a special adapter to direct the oil filter away from the manifolds, i know the A bodies of 68 used a similar adapter as well but 67 might be an exception to that rule. Ram air restoration enterprises carries all the stuff you would need, bolt kits, adapters, and even gaskets that would help you through your conversion, plus they have prices on their reproduction manifolds which might give you an idea on the value of yours. good luck.

The '68 Ram Air manifolds will not fit the '67 chassis. You need the D-port '67 Ram Air manifolds, which fit the chassis very well, as well as the '64-'66 A-body chassis.

Default 1967 GTO What fits?

Thanks guys,
I called R.A.R.E. today and they also agreed that I need 1967 only ram air manifolds. Looking for a pair if anyone has a set. Thanks again, Shiftydr.

I have a pair of nos head pipes with the flanges if you find the manifolds.
