Default Fuel Return Line

Do all 67 firebird 400s have a return line? I'm getting ready to place an order for all the fuel lines plus a new tank and I want to make sure I getr everything. I plan on using SS lines.
Any advice?

Mine does, but I'm changing fuel pumps (putting in a Holly) and it doesn't have the provision for the return vapor line, so I'm going to cut the return line off at the frame and cap it off.

Can someone chime in on whether this is a good idea or not? Thanks.

I would get a fuel filter that has the provisions in it.
no need to cut any line if you dont want to use.
theres a joint in it near the front of lower control arm.

Ok - ya gotta dumb it down for me.
1) Never seen a fuel filter with a provision for the return line - you talking about the fuel pump? The stock one has it, not the Holly I used on my LeMans
2) That return line is rubbing on my Dougs Headers - that's why I want to remove it
3) I should probably post a picture so we're on the same page here

some fuel filters do have one inlet and two outlets: one to the carb, one to the return line. you can find them on the rack at any parts store. i think only the HO cars got the return line. i have a 400 that was originally a 350 w/o a return line and was contemplating adding one to help with vapor lock issues. if you have a return line, you will have a different fuel tank outlet.

Seriously though - do I need the return line? It's rubbing on my headers.
