Default Beware Backyard Parts.

AKA 69firebirdman.
Sells First generation Firebird parts. Sells on ebay a lot as well.

He sold me this block as a good 350 block, I sent a kid to pick it up for me as I live to far away.
Now he will not make it right. I've asked for a refund or exchange. All he does it attack you.
You have been warned, buy at your own risk.

If he sold you junk which it does look like, and he won`t go good on fix`in his lie
then he is nothing more than a F`IN LOSER LOSER LOSER. And you know what
losers do not have any REAL friends, they have hanger on`s. When the going gets
tough losers have no one they can count on cause they are just losers who rip people off.

I've tried for two days to get him to make it right, all I asked for is an exchange or refund for this block. I bought two, the other is fine so he knows what a good block should be, this one is junk. No mains caps, no main bolts, rusted bottom end and I doubt you'd even get the pistons out without cracking the block, then add the caps, bolts, line bore and other machine time, etc...
It's a plain jane 350 block, not worth it.

My last recourse is to warn others. Should he decide to make it right I'll be sure and post that, but it's been a hard battle.

Thanks for the offer Cammer, wished I'd known sooner as I drove through Jacksonville monday. But I'll wait and see for now, this was supposed to be my spare block.

And I needed to talk with you about my Sprint anyway. It's getting time to build it for my other car. I assume you still do them?

I also have a 350 block or whole 350. Located in Talladega. Will sell cheap.

Sorry to hear about your bad deal. There are many people out there selling rusty junk like that.

Many of us have purchased good used parts from Backyard Parts and gotten deals. I'm sure it can be worked out and Terry will go the extra distance to give a deal on other parts or hard to find items.

Just curious as to how much you paid for the block.

150.00 for 2 of them and got a set of fender emblems with the deal.i only wanted gordon to pay the guy that i had to pay to disassemble the one he was happy with and move them to a area where he could load them in his suv.if he would have called me and not asked for more back than he paid for the block this discussion would never have taken place

No matter what kind of spin Terry puts on it, he sold an unusable block.

I'll take an exchange, but you deliver it to Palm Bay, (2 hours) or return the $75 plus the $25 in gas it took to get that piece of junk.
I would not have sent Michael to pick up just the one good block. The deal was for two.

Make it right Terry.

Update:

I had the second block tanked and fluxed, it is cracked to bad to sleeve so both blocks are junk. I called Terry and told him, he said he would refund $75 even though I paid $150 for both blocks, plus some shipping and machine shop cost.
But Terry never sent the $75 anyway. I'm out over $300 total and have two junk blocks.

Beware Backyard Parts. Buy from somewhere else.
