Default Sprint 6 engine ???

I have a Sprint 6 4bbl intake, split exaust w matchinhg head. the block is long gone + I am curious if it will fit a 292 Chevy block or if just the intake /exaust manifold will ? ?

Can't answer that but I might have some options.
I have a block, crank and rods from 69 FIrebird, no other parts except bare block. Also have a complete 69 1 bbl engine. Might be interesteed in buying your stuff too.

I am sorry, but the intake /exaust is not for sale and I can get a Sprint sixs locally, not rare at all around here. I just want more cubes w/o doing the big bore/stroker thing.

Got instructions on how to install the 4bbl intake on another site, But I have to split the stock 292 exaust manifold. The Sprint Dual Exaust will not fit.

There is a guy further up in this section looking to pull his OHC 6 in favor of a SBC. FYI.

I pulled it out of a '69 Bird seven years ago to put a 400 in it. The guy said he wanted it back but that was 7 years ago. I live North Of Atlanta. I aint shipping it. 678-278-5116 Bill

20 years ago my uncle put a sprint 6 intake and exh mans on a 230 chevy.
heres what i remeber...he had to grind one or two push rod tubes out and used small brass tubes.

he made an adapter plate out of 1/2 inch plate and it was a bolt on...the ports all line up just some bumps and stuff in the way...it all worked, and i got to ride in the car...

he took a 230 intake and man gaslets and the sprint gaskets and figured out it would work, he was good at adapting etc..

he took a 230..they have steel cranks...and put a 194 head...bumped the comp up like over 10 to 1 ..and used a factory 3 speed overdrive and shoved it all in a 67 elcamino...cant remeber much else, but it was way more efficient and got some ungodly amount of mpg...

i dont know what happened to the car, he passed and we where estranged for years..he got weird i got busy with life...
