Anyone with even a lead? I would be willing to buy a whole parts type car to get a nice front bumper.

Yeah Gregg, that is what I'm finding. Only 2-3 years ago, they were at most every swap meet I went to, for $100-200. Now when I need one, they are back East & for serious Ka-Ching!!

Oops, it's only a rolling shell. That's what I get for reading too many different ad/auctions.

Jones, are you still out there? I PM'd you, but haven't heard back yet.
Can't believe a common '74-75 front bumper could be this hard to find. Any more leads??

reading this thread got me thinking....you guys remember "Rockford files" the tv show from the 70's? he had a new firebird every year from 74-1980 i think. i used to watch the show just to see the car. there was always a chase scene. sry to hijack thread. just thinking out loud.

Is anyone making fiberglass bumpers and valences for these cars? That's the ticket for some of us that need those parts and aren't concerned about "perfect" high dollar original parts.

Try this web site and look under parts. They have repro valances, and I just saw they have the fiberglass front bumper. Once there scroll down until you hit the repro parts.
