Personally I'd have the gold sections powder coated and then use Eastwoods Diamond clear on that and the cleaned up bare aluminum. But I'm not sure how the Diamond clear would hold up. I refinihed all the 15x8 set off my 79 Formula once and that was a PITA. Next time I'll have them done professionally. I've been kicking that over to put them on my 66 GTO.... for something different.
