Electric Hideaways
What ever happened to "tigerefi.com" ? They certainly have not updated their site in quite some time, showing "what's new" as 2002...And I haven't been able to get an email response from them...Does anyone know what parts they used for their hideaway kits? Their website says that the motor was "discontinued"...Who made it? What was the original application? Does anybody know any more??? What other parts did they use? What were the other kit parts original appliactions? I have a pretty good network to find some discontinued parts if I know what I'm looking for.

I suggest you do a search on this Forum, there are several ways to do a conversion using parts off of different models of cars.

Yeah, Bob Trimpe did a conversion I think. He posts here as "Fyrebird68". Do a search. PS Bob's a good guy, very meticulous. I'm sure his conversion is a great improvement over the vacuum system.

There is a guy here on this site screename Projectfolly that has done the conversion and used all available parts from GM to do it - i saw the car and they work great - fast up and down - maybe you can contact from the screen name he has a 69 CR Judge that is in the detroit autorama Judges thread - hope this helps john

you can use the motors out of a fiero or trans am,use the module and relays and fabricate a couple of brackets to hold the motors,also have to make an arm that connects from the motors to the arm on the headlight doors.I started on this,one side is done and the other is almost done,got sidetracked(body off frame,etc),won't finish that aspect of the build for at least 1-2 monthes.Not hard to do,though.

Yea, follow the link "Held for Ransom" posted. We just ran out of parts and had to give up. Have been so busy with our "Day" jobs that we have not been able to come up with something else. Same with our EFI manifold development. Sorry if you sent an email to one of the ones on the site. They are probably all full of spams. If you have any questions on the parts we used in ours just PM me here. But, I think some of the other guys here have done a great job with modern parts so you may want to check them out first.
