F.S. D-port long branch exhaust manifolds
For Sale:
Pontiac D-port long branch exhaust manifolds part numbers: 9779493 RH 9779495 LH appear to be correct for 65-67 B body (big car) Catalina, Grand Prix, Bonneville, etc. 67 F body Firebird 400 H.O. & Ram Air. The outlet measures 2 ½ inches. These will fit the frames of 65-70 B body (Big Car) & 67-69 F body (Firebirds). These are originals, not reproductions. The available reproductions do not look correct & they do not have an operating heat riser valve. I have tested the heat riser valse with a propane torch. The bi-metallic spring does relax when heated, allowing exhaust flow to open the valve fully. These manifolds are not cracked or excessively corroded. I ran a tap through the bolt holes & they appear to be undamaged. Eric (817) 491-4702 ericread@bwdmail.net The code on the LH manifold is 12.
