Guys
Will stock valve covers clear the Crane Roller rocker valve train? What i have is Moroso talls and am looking to get my A/C brackets on. Obviously won't work with the tall covers. Wanted to know if the stock Covers will work before i go buy a set. This is a 74 400 motor in a GA. THANKS John |

They will clear, of course depending on your lift specs, when used with a RAIV style thick gasket. I have used 1.5:1 rollers and a .525 lift cam with stock covers. Also, if your vc's have oil deflectors built in they will have to go. You may have to slightly modify the AC bracket. You can definitely use the roller tip style rockers with stock gaskets and no oil deflectors. Hope this helps.

I have a thicker gasket the the RA IV or Felpro I use with stock non oil deflector covers.
I use it and also cement a stock gasket inside the stock cover.Seals and works great with evem .520 lift cams. |
