72 valve stem seals
hey guys I have a 72 pontiac 350 smokes at idle and on start up only. Had the heads off and valves ground it did not smoke before valve job mechanic installed the little o-ring seals.are there better valve stem seals for this application because these stink

yes
Do a search on viton seals. also found under "PC" style seals. These require the heads to be removed and some machining done to the head.
