NOS #670 Pontiac head date code J206
For sale:
NOS #670 Pontiac head 1967 400 & 428 Correct for 1967 GTO & Firebird 400 & Big car 428 HO. This is a bare cylinder head. It has never been assembled or installed on an engine. No machining has been done on it since new, other than what was done at the factory. I bought this NOS head in the 1980s as a spare for my 67 GTO. I never used it & it has been in my storage for almost 30 years. One would have to look for a very long time to find another NEW 1967 cylinder head. It is as virgin as it can be. Dip cleaned by Metal Rehab to have all internal & external corrosion removed. Date code: J206 Exhaust ports painted with a base coat of Eastwood 1200 degree high temp stainless steel silver, to prevent these areas from external rust from the heat. Eastwood Cast Iron gray used on normally non painted areas to prevent future rust. Correct Pontiac blue for 1967 on the normally painted areas. Includes: 8 new hard to find TRW V-2600 Intake valves. TRW 1984 Catalog list the application as: 67 400 & 428 4 bbl. & Ram Air 2.11 dia. 30 degree seat 5.073 length 16 original valve springs from 1967 400 H.O. 360 HP engine with manual transmission . These springs have less than 50,000 miles on them.
