I am wondering just how you get to the bolts on the motor mount on the driver side. On the passenger side there were holes in the frame that I could reach a wrench through and hold the nuts while I turned the bolts out. But on the driver side there are not holes. The only thing I see doing is take the lower A-arm off and then go through there. I am hoping for an easier way of doing it.

You might find some helpful info here;
http://forums.maxperformanceinc.com/...d.php?t=608643 The 75 -81 subframes are a bit different,as are the mounts,but same concept/location. I'm not looking at a 70-74 subframe right now,but can you get access to mount plate bolts through the mounting holes for the lower control arms? (long extension/flex-socket?) |
