Default Formula owners post options

See if this thread gets interest on the Bird forum here after posting it this morning on the Goat side, duh.. (Motto: do not post until after all coffee)

************************************************** ****************

Since Formula's could come so widely and differently optioned, thought it might be interesting if people might post their options on 70-73 Formula's. Seems there is one no PS / no PB one around here..... but I know there are many unique optioned ones. The found RA car this week is a great example.

Me: 1972 Formula. Options(9): PS, PB, Tint WS (only), 400 engine, Auto, Gauges (w clock), HD Radiator, Courtesy lights, AM radio. (Springfield Green on green).

My 70 Formula 400, Lucy Blue with black interior:

AM Radio
Manual disc brakes (power assist was an option)
Console
Tinted windows

It had 60K miles on it when I bought it in 1982. It has poverty caps on 7" steelies with no trim rings. It still had the original AM radio in it when I bought it.

The only real formula I had ,I parted out. A 1970
this was a 350 car, HD 3 speed, NO console, std interior
Only option was the am radio.
this car had manual discs, Manual steering and dog dish hubcaps as I recall the paperwork
Car was a Green, with sandalwood I believe std seats. Wish i had the pics and documentation for it now.

Formulabruce, have the VIN on that one?

They didn't make a 350 Formula in 1970.

The 3 speed would have been rare also.

you know the engine was gone and I assumed it, I did have some paperwork but tossed it once I rolled the car to the junkyard, like a fool
The tranny I am sure of as it was the same one in my 68 GTO /HO car
It was with the car as well as the bellhousing pedals.. I have the pedals and z bar still.
there was a 2 bbl in the trunk, didnt they make them in 2 bbl and 4 bbl configs?
I used the car to make my 73 a factory looking NON ac car, as It was an AC car.

One I still have...

71 Formula 350, silver, black custom interior, console, AM radio, auto, AC, tinted glass, rally wheels, spoiler

One I would like to find...

71 400 or 455, silver with Sienna custom interior, Y96 handling package would be nice, but mostly I like the silver/sienna combo

No 2bbl in 70
Just the 400 4bbl and the RA III 4bbl engines.

71TA, does your blue one not have a console? So far I think I am only column shift Formula around... (column shift when no console option ordered with auto).
