Digital Video Cam!!
I'm looking for a good inexpensive video camera! What are you guy's using. The best bang for the buck!!

Wow there are a lot of choices..
We use a couple here. We have 4 of the JVC Hard Drive Everios. Had them now for about 2 years. They are Rock solid tough and were inexpensive.. but we use them strictly in a utilitarian mode and have never even worried about the video quality. (Video taps and Backup for Continuity etc..) They create a rather odd Format that until recently with the newer version of Quicktime we had to use their supplied software to convert the files in order to use them in Final Cut.. But for most folks that's not an issue at all. You can still buy the Everios. Your big choice now is gonna be Hard Drive or Flash Card. Hard Drive makes for some recording limits, adds to cost and makes the camera larger. Flash Cards make sense in my opinion. We have just bought 2 of these for a particular use and are really liking them! Sanyo Xacti VPC HD2000 They are VERY NICE. Kinda weird Pistol grip at first but you totally get used to it. And the Memory Card recording is way more convenient then the Hard Drives on the JVC (Although admittedly it takes HOURS to fill the JVC's Hard Drive up) Just get a $5.00 USB card reader or most laptops and even my cheal Dell desktop at work has card readers in it. I like the Flash Card Recording in general. http://www.google.com/products/catal...wAw#ps-sellers I recommend them at the Approx $500.00 price range which is what you will spend for something that has a really nice Hi Def image... And these shoot slow-mo and 60FPS for SUPER smooth video... And you can plug in an external microphone so youcan get great audio if you care to. And you can add wide angle lenses If you are looking for less costly be warned that the Video Quality suffers but is still good enough for most folks.
