Yes, a friend of ours had a set made back in the 90s. Very very nice work. He since has changed his setup, never used them, and they might be for sale. They were long tube, smaller diameter, D-port, perfect for 400 or lower compression 455s with moderate gear (3.08 or 3.23) in heavier cars with stock-type converters. Might have a photo of them in Dad's book in the exhaust section. I'll look.

My442,
On page 99 of the How to Build Max Performance Pontiac V8s, we have a picture of both right and left sides. I can scan it and share it if you do not have access to the book. Tom

Eddie's shop is about a mile and a half from my house (it's actually an old garage behind his house, stacked to the rafters with stuff. ) He ported a set of heads for the '61 Bonneville convertible I used to own many years ago, and did a real nice job. I actually haven't used his headers, but I've looked at them and their quality is very good. He knows his stuff about header design, and will talk your ear off about it.

Top notch fit and finish. I have had his 1 7/8" x 3.5" equal length (34") D-port headers for many years now; 1st gen Bird. Ground clearance is fine and only the oil filter needs to be dropped to put them on/off.
They were pricy but excellent quality and well thought out design.

I had him custom-build these headers for pulling with my 400 engine. They were designed to be optimal when I ran it just alky-injected (to 7,200 RPM), but they also worked okay with the blower on it (to 8,200 RPM). Quality was good.
