Default rims

Need some advice on 17 inch rims for my 68 stock firebird. These are american racing 200s rims with 245-45-17 tires on them. I am wondering about clearence. Would this work? I was thinking of changing the front tires to 215-45-17 to fix the rub issue in the front. Would that work? Any advice would be appricated. If you have this set up on a car or something similar It would be really nice to hear from you.

I currently have 245/45/17 on front with 17x8 (4.5BS) rims and 255/55/17 back of my 68 firebird. The front barely rubs on tight turns. The backs usually only rub on angled driveways. I usually don't have issues.

All that said, I'm going down to 15x8 all around with 235/60/15. The 17's turned out to be just a little too big for my taste.
