Would much appreciate if someone could post some pics of the a/c harness in the engine bay, mainly want to know, what wire connects to the compressor and where they come from. I am missing this harness but I think I found it in a box of parts, but the connector to the compressor is missing a wire, if this is it.

Is one of the compressor wires a earth?
Where exactly does the wire to the alternator attach? |

Good morning in Aussie land. These are not the best but hopefully you can get an Idea of what goes where. The 30 amp fuse link comes off the engine harness on the intake side. The extension that plugs into the compressor comes off the harness on the ac side.
If you need more detail I will get it out in the sun and take better pics. patrick

Thanks Patrick, now is one of the wires from the compressor attach to a earth?
and where on the alternator does the 30 amp wire attach, with the main power wire? Also mate I see in your pic of the compressor you have no rear brace bracket, is only the main bracket holding the compressor in place? Do you not need the rear bracket? |

Those pics will be very helpful Patrick thanks, could I get one of the bottom pulley with the A/C belt, mine looks like the belt goes at the back, between the balancer and 2 grove pulley, is this correct.
Your goat looks good, love the tail. |

There are 2 pullies. A single grove for the compressor. It is closest to the timing cover followed by a spacer then the 2 grove pully.
Ram Air Restorations makes a really nice billet set. I will get some pics for you today. 14hr time difference? its 11am Saturday here. patrick

Yes, Ozzmann, The AC pulley is the one closest to the engine.

Well I'm back to this job of refitting my A/C as I now have all my brackets.
Can someone please post up a pic of the rear of compressor and where the short bracket attaches to the motor, I think I am missing a double ended stud off the head, just need a pic to confirm and show me where it sits. |

I cannot help at the moment. I am on IR after 2 level fusion at C-5,6-6,7 Plus I took the engine out because of a knock. Hopefully someone else can post a picture for you. I may be able to scan the diagram of the ac assembly from the manual for you. However thats in the basement. ughhh patrick
