Default AMK Products -- Not interested in helping out

I've been dealing with AMK products for the last 3 months purchasing the correct hardware to restore my '73 Trans Am. I've placed two orders with them. Their response time is very slow, it took almost two weeks for the first order to arrive but it was accurate when it arrived and their products are high quality. My problem with them is their lack of interest in trying to help me out. During my research I was able to cross reference a lot of the hardware I needed to hardware they carry by using their cross reference guide that matches original GM part numbers to their own part numbers. This was great, but when I contacted them to ask if they would review a list of GM part numbers I COULD NOT cross reference to see of they could match those additional part numbers to correct hardware within their inventory I was initially told that they could, then was put off for 3 months in which I asked for an update and was told they were still working on it (they never contacted me) and then finally I was contacted by the owner/person who handles that part and was basically told to just use the catalog and order whatever was in it. So not only had they NOT been looking at my list, they also had no interest in helping me out. Considering that they have an EXHAUSTIVE offering of "Bolt Kits" for Camaros and Chevelles vs. almost nothing for Firebirds and definitely nothing for GTOs, I've concluded that since its a Pontiac that I own, I must not be a member of the right market segment to interest them or warrant their time and help. You can draw your own conclusions.
