Default PY Member SWEETMUSCLE = No Part/Money

I have been putting posting this on the forum for awhile now hoping the seller would get his act together and resolve this problemed transaction, but that is not the case.

On March 5th I sent SWEETMUSCLE money through PayPal for 1969 GTO tail light bezels. The initial transaction went smoothly although shipping took 2 weeks. However when he sent the bezels he shipped two left side ones. Not a big deal in my opinion, stuff happens. I contacted him and he seemed sorry and told me to send one of the bezels back and he would send me the correct part. This is where the problems started. I sent the one of the left bezels back on March 23rd where it arrived to him that following Friday. I messaged him again he assured me it would go out on Monday. A week later there was no part. I messaged him again. Said it would go out that day, yet a week later I still did not have the bezel. It has been 4 weeks sent I sent him the left bezel and I have yet to see my parts.

Monday I filled a claim with PayPal and contacted him again saying I want confirmation the item has shipped or I will be contacting my bank. He told me that it would 100% ship out tomorrow (Tuesday). I have not heard from this seller since Monday. He has made frequent visits for the forum to browse pages but has yet to respond my multiple PM's. I left him a number to contact me. Never got a call.

So basically after paying for these parts over a month ago I am left with one bezel and I am out $307. I already send SWEETMUSCLE a PM stating I want a refund, but as I mentioned he has not contacted me since Monday.

Just a heads up guys SM will take your money and leave you hanging.

SWEET is a pretty standup guy and I don't believe any of this is intentional. Give him a break, he's been here a long time. Could have personal problems but I'm sure it will be made right.

Default Sorry....

to hear that. We bought a few sets from him with seamless transactions. Hopefully....he'll make good. Not defending the guy...just hoping to offer you some encouragement. The bezels are beautiful and I know he sometimes runs out but cannot figure him lying to you. Anyway...good luck and hope it works out. Take care. Ron

I have bought over 15 sets of those taillight bezels from SWEETMUSCLE. Never had a problem before. I know he is very busy with family stuff so maybe something has come up for him lately. I doubt he is intentionally trying to rip you off for $307. If he was going to rip off anyone it would have been for that motor he sold for $1,500. He will make it right IMO. I do know he is out of stock on the bezels so maybe his distributor is saying that they will ship, and in turn he tells you the same thing, only to have them not ship and make him look bad.

Hope it works out for you and keep us posted as I plan to buy more 69 bezels when he gets them back in stock.

I bought 2 sets last year and got 3 lefts. Had to pay to send 1 back. Got the one I was short. Hardware pack moved in box and scratched paint on bezel and he told me to scuff and paint it. I won't do business with him again.
