Default RIP Dennis Hopper and Art Linkletter

I thought someone would have posted about Art passing last week and I just saw that Dennis passed.
Art had a great show that always made me laugh and Dennis was a very good actor. People like them should and will be missed.

Default RIP Art.

Found this interesting tidbit about Art on the H.A.M.B. and copied it here:

Television host Art Linkletter passed away May 26 at age 97. Linkletter’s House Party and People Are Funny shows originated from Hollywood and he was a big celebrity in the 1960s and ‘70s. He was famous for interviewing children and was the author of “Kids Say the Darnedest Things.”

I'll miss Dennis - played parts nobody else would, added a groove nobody else could.

Ditto what B-man and Boss said. RIP Dennis. Easy Riders was ons of his crowning glory performances. At least he got his Star on the Walk of Fame before he passed on.

We used to watch Art Linkletter all the time, his shows were really good. Better than some of the trash on tv these days. RIP Art... you did good, and will be miss by many of us "old folks".

to the both of you.

Dennis will be missed, great actor in dramas and westerns. Art had a great show, and yes I am old enough that I watched it on a regular basis. Art and Dennis RIP.

Art Linkletter was ahead of his time when it came to innovating T.V.shows.

His show"Kids Say The Darndest Things" was copied by no less than Bill Cosby, what does that say?
