Its over ayear since I took the dash apart. Have these two "twist in" sockets,one appears to have fiber-optic cable that I think would go to ashtray. The other has a spade "male" ternimal, that I dont know what to connect to. It looks to me that they would be installed into the back of the instrument cluster.The other option would be the clock but I dont think that is right. In the dash there are two gray wires with a push in type socket that seem as though they'd go to the clock.

Clock has the 2 gray wires with bulbs, as they are 12 v live, since no circuit board on clock to feed them (just grounded on clock casing). The wire on left is simply put in an empty socket with circuit board behind guages, and yes it is a fiber optics which goes to ashtray. Other one I can't remember if it's anything special, as it seems to also have bracket to attach fiber optics cable.

Thanks Rob. Thats what I thought and, after looking more closely your right. thats not a terminal. it is a bracket that would attach another cable.
