Default Anybody seen a '63 hearse like this before?

Check this out. I have seen 66s like this but most of the '63 & '64s I have seen have a bigger cargo area than this one.

Could be a good project.

Edit: Sorry fat finger it's a '63

It's a '63 - Superior built both high roof (Criterion) and low roof (Consort) bodies, that appears to be a standard (not extended) wheelbase Consort.

Yep I've seen one and haven't scrounged up the funds for it yet. It's been in the back of my mind tho for a Trick or Treat hauler! It's a better car than this one tho. needs a trans [of course] some interior work and brakes. It's significantly more money tho. Something along the lines of 700 of that roofline made IIRC.

The JFK car had the bigger body. I love these with the smaller bodies on them. They really maintain the styling of the car with the cool commercial features thrown in.

Well, Mike when I get my '66 we can have a ghoulish drag race on Halloween.

There is a '63 high roof version sitting near my place in Maricopa at Hidden Valley auto parts if anyone needs parts. I was not familiar with the low roof version. Thanks for posting.

Not sure about his last ride. I guess that would be from the funeral to the cemetary but, he got off the plane and was put in a '63 Pontiac hearse.

Typical Govt. contract situation.

The Navy car was for sale a year or so ago on E-Bay. Don't know if it was ever verified to be the actual car or not, but it was purported to be. Still had the Navy #s etc. on it.

That would be a real fun car. It's outrageously funky and cool as is.

JFK's last ride was on a Caisson pulled by real horses to Arlington National Cemetery.

OK y'all check out the '63 & '64 cars in this piece. I am going to own a '63 ambulance & '66 consort one day. The bullet type lights on these things rock. It looks like they kept the same ones through at least '67.
