Default AM FM Radio Woes

Hi
I just got a 64 Bonneville and the radio make high pitched squeal from speakers when turned on , could this be fixed , bearing in mind getting someone down here to fix an old radio might be tough

Bob,

Yes it can be fixed. The components inside your radio are about 50 years old now and they won't last forever. Your radio just needs a tuneup and it needs to have all the electrolytic capacitors replaced. I can repair your radio and get it back to you quickly.
