looking to see if any one has a set of hood springs for my 64 bonneville I have a set from a gran prix but the bonneville springs are larger or if some one knows what will crossreference to it thanks not a catalina

I had an extra pair of springs and hinges for my 64 GP. My son took them and put them on the 67 LeMans.

This is interesting...I looked up the part number for the hood spring on my '61, and it was used on all full size Pontiacs from 1959 to 1963, and from 1965 to 1968. I wonder why 1964 was different.

Because '64 is "special"....
(ya',... I know...)I'll see if I have a set laying around... I'm pretty sure I do. Tonghts tasks: Hood springs, Fuel tank filler tube grommet.... -r-

Oh, skip the spring and hinges and just install 4 hood pins.
