Proportioning valve rebuild kit
Guys,
Does anyone have a source for a rebuild kit for a proportioning valve? I would just buy a new one but the brass looks out of place on a correct engine bay. Any help would be appreciated. I have checked ll the usual places around here..even an old brake specialty place in Atlanta and nothing. For some reason the P- valve gets little to no attention from the vendors and suppliers. I am working on a 10th anniversary TA with the 4 wheel disc option. Thanks!

If you got a service manual and became familiar with the cutaway fiew of a perportioning valve then you would be in a better position when you take it apart to put it back together correctly. Then take it apart carefully and gently taking detailed pics. clean it up and inspect it and if anything is wrong throw it away and accept your fate.
inline tube has a nice selection. I cant believe none of them both fit and look correct for your application be very carefull reassembling one as an awfull lot depends on your brakes working correctly |

Hey Jay,
I sold aftermarket auto parts for 13 years, now deal w/ med. duty truck stuff. I've never seen, or heard of parts/kits for prop. valves. My only knowledge was buying a new one from O.E. source...which is impossible, I'm sure, w/ your deal... So, is there a estimated time line on getting your engine back from S.D. ??? Some things are worth the wait, I feel this will be
