yikes! that is a costly piece...but note that no one has stepped up at THAT price. IIRC, Deadhead was just saying recently that about 2 bills should buy a coulmn like this.

Great Googala-Moogala! That's some serious coin. For that price, it should be mounted on the wall above the fireplace.

Ebay is having a "sale" now if you can call it that. As long as you don't have a store. Up until I think Sept. 7th you can list anything you want for any start price & the listing fee (only)?! is waved. They still collect their full back-end if it selles: 9% and of course don't forget about the additional 3% paypal fee.

It's real slow selling used car parts this time of year anyway so what I suspect is your simply seeing a lot of "fishing" going on. I would say $100 to $200 is about the right price for this, actually it may be worth more in pieces to repair another (of a rarer year or model) GM tilt column.

If the steering wheel had been nice maybe, but that wheel looks shot. I was just quoted $1200 to recast the wheel for my GP.

I'd buy two at that price, and use them as a paperweight to hold down my $100 bills from flying away!

Well, you guys overlooked that it comes with the "VERY RARE LOWER RAG JOINT COUPLER THAT IS ALWAYS MISSING."

Seems 1965 rag joints are extremely rare in Ohio.

I asked him if he mistakenly added an extra 1 to his price since it was insane!

I just noticed if you look hard, you can see a few spots where the black paint is chipped away and the pure gold is showing through! :P
