65 cowl tag question on ACC or acccessory codes
I was reading the cowl tag on my car and was able to descipher most of except the acc codes.
top line 65-23727 (post coupe) body BF (freemont CA plant) tr 216-35 (red int) paint AA A (black ext) ACC. 30772 (???) oh yeh top top line 03E (5th week March 65) Can anyone help with the ACC line?, I think the other lines are correct. |

The Fremont and Baltimore plants did not use the ACC. line to list accessory codes like the Pontiac and Kansas City facilities did. Instead, that line was used to display the manifest no. This number is also found on the manifest (vehicle build sheet) sheet.
