The car ran real good today qualified #1 out of 9 cars... we lost in the semis (spun).. Perk with the mustang beat us. he did go an 8.88 in the finals!!
1.259 sixty foot 5.63 eighth 122.92 8.841 at 153.56.. motor looks to be making over 1000 hp with e-heads.. 3515 lbs on the scales....they took away the rest of the pontiac weight break so I had to add 25 more lbs..ran in the mid 8.8's all day.. I would like to thank my crew Brian,Don and Mike for helping today.. Also would like to thank Gaby for the port work to the heads.. you the man.. never would have thought the car would go that fast weighing 50 lbs more than last year.. we think it could go in the high 8.70's if we can keep it from either wheeling or spinning...thats the hard part..

thanks everyone....
blktopr, going to MIR this weekend for the world cup (import vs domestics). going to run in a class called wild street.. its 2000.00 to win.. if it wasnt this weekend then I was going to go to atco... probably will never run a slick on the car..I think if I put wheelie bars on the car it would def help, but then I have to weigh 25 more lbs and that aint happening... going to upgrade my front shocks over the winter to help control the front end and stop all that bouncing when it comes down from a wheelie...

Congrats Jeff! Gonna try to make it down to MIR, if I don't make it down there good luck. If you do win you'll probably have to take Brian to Ruth's Chris.

Great job Jeff. Somehow I think you could eventually cover the 25 lbs adding bars if you figure how to tune them too. I'd rather not see your car get crunched and banged up.
