Hey guys want you to note an issue I have with a member on this site. I listed an In Tank custom electric fuel pump system here on the forum. It was from Tanks.inc and a nice unit. I was taking a $50 loss on a brand new item and had some interest both on here and Craigslist.

On 8-21-2010 I get a private message from Ed Fitzgerald telling me he wants it and going to make arrangements. I pulled my ad from CL and pulled it from two other forums because you should be able to trust a member of the forum. RIGHT? Well dozens of “next week” and when I get to town or have time, went on and on and I was stupid and figured he was a man of his word. Maybe with some money issues or ??? but I was willing to hold out because he said he needed it. Well today after 4 months, yes 4 months he tells me the car he wanted it for is about to be sold. Obviously this didn’t come overnight so there was a period of time when he knew he was selling the car and still kept me on the hook for the part.

Was I stupid and naïve waiting all this time for one of the forum members? I have had so many honest people on here buy things and I have bought things but one member like this and I feel really cheated and used. It doesn’t help I have been without work since April of last year and selling parts I do not need is the way I can buy new parts for my Firebird. Now I have to start over and it sucks and when I look back I figure I was a real FOOL.

In any case if you get any offers from Ed Fitzgerald be very careful and don’t count on ever getting paid. He can rebut this if he wants but pretty tough after 15+ private messages and 4 MONTHS of telling me his is going to send a money order soon.
