Default 1968 GTO

Well it looks like I am not going to get to finishing my 68' GTO after all so here it goes. I bought the car back in 1995 and it was set-up for a bbc motor which had been removed with the tranny. I put a 69' 428 with 16 heads on it and an aftermarket intake, headers and new exhaust. Turbo 400 trans from a 73' GTO and a posi rear. gear. Car has less than 12,000 mile on it but has sat outside for many years so it needs paint and a little body work. The car ran very strong when I drove it around the block awhile back. Car is black on black. There is some rust in the trunk floor and a very small spot behind the left rear wheel but other wise the car is very solid. I have never had the car on the road and it will need some finishing work to get it road worthy. You can have it with a huge pile of parts for $ 9,000., or without parts for $8,000. I may cosider selling it minus notor and trans also. Options on the car are few but include PS, PB, and factory tinted windows ina non AC car. PHS included.

can you post or send pics? I'm interested how the dash and interior (what color) faired in the Nevada sun assuming you had left it outside. Trying to factor in all that it may need to see if it might be a good car for me.

Got 2 endura bumpers and could probably put a complete set together with a little digging. Are you looking for hidden or fixed headlights? I have a nice pair of buckets from a '68 442 in black that may work.
