Default Have a line on 2 OHC engines

One of my students came to me Friday and said his father had bought an industrial building and in the back in a pile of scrap was 2 OHC Pontiac engines. They are complete with 2-speed auto transmissions still bolted to them. Both are 1 BBL carb engines, not sprints, and he doesn't know if they are 230 or 250 CID units. His dad was going to scrap them but I held him up for a few days to see if there was any interest in them nowdays. I had a sprint engine in a 68 Firebird as I was growing up with a manual trans and it was a wonderful engine, especially for that time frame. Please respond if there is any interest. They could probably be had for a few hundred dollars for both with the transmissions. It is my understanding that they both still turn.

Talked to the student. He said he would get in the building and take some pictures in the next few days. Sorry I don't have more info. He did say the 2-speed auto's attached had huge holes in the bellhousing which means they were aie cooled models. I don't think the air cooled units were used after 1967. I will post the pics as soon as I get them.
