I have decided to sell my '52 Chieftain. It's a nice, solid driver with 60,000 orig miles, approximately 2,000 miles on a freshly rebuilt hydramatic ($2300). It has a high compression head on the original straight 8. The head was milled .10 to clean it up for a fresh head gasket 6,000 miles ago. It's still all the original 6 volt electrical system in good working order.
The body is in good shape, with very minor blemishes. Paint is 20 years old, but nicely done in dark metalic green over seamist green. Bumpers are in excellent shape and have been rechromed ($2000). As you can see from the pics, this car was ordered with all of the bumper guards as well. I have 2 light up hood ornaments that go with the car, including one in nice condition with a NOS amber insert. The interior is decent, except for the drivers seat which needs to be recovered. I just use a universal seat cover right now. I have a NOS set of the original green carpet for the car that will go with the purchase. Also included is a '51 Straight 8 in what I believe to be running condition. Asking $10,000/obo. send me an email at [email protected] if you have any further questions. Thanks for looking
