To rebuild a 421 TRI-Power out of a 67 but now in a 66 GTO.
670 Heads that need to be machined, etc. It has developed a slight knock in the lower end. I am making an educated guess that it is due to high compression, lower octane gas detonation that has finally thrashed a rod bearing. My Dad had the car for quite a few years and now I have it... It was rebuilt at some point prior to my Dad's ownership. Hence, why I just want to have it rebuilt, completely. The engine is already spotless and has run flawlessly for a lot of year. The GTO it calls home is beautiful and I want to be able to enjoy the car this year. I'm looking for someone in the S/E Michigan Area.. that is reputable, and is knowledgeable with old Pontiac power plants. |
