'69 Headlight Bezels
I'm restoring a '69 GTO for National Shows. I'm looking for a Pr of Headlight Bezels for a '69 GTO. Checked Ames, PY, OPGI Catalogs. No one has them listed. They go from '67 to '70. Anyone know where I can get a good pair at??? Also looking for the plastic in-dash piece that the gas gauge, speedometer, tach go into. Can't seem to find that either. Thanks Guys Tom

if you are looking for non flip stuff I have a few sets that would need to be restored to be show perfect. other than that I have not seen any repro or restored since most opt to go with the flip option/upgrade. as far as the dash piece you are looking for they are out there in all sorts of conditions. I believe I even saw a repop. Quality is the rough part..

thanks, I have all flip cars, just keep a few setups around if I sell off a car and the next costodian wants to go original/as built. Thanks for getting back.. good luck with the project.

Tom, Neither of those items are available as reproductions. Very hard to find nice owm parts especially the headlight bezels. search ebay.

What does a set that would need to be restored sell for today or what does a set sell for that is redone? Do you get more money out of a set of 69 or 68?

Chris, for some reason the 68 bezels seem to bring more money FWIW. I don't know why that is the case however.

68 bezels are a larger piece and different than the 1969 bezel. The grills on a 1968 are set back farther into the bumper and the headlight bezel extended back 3-4 inches in order to meet with the grill. 68 bezels will NOT work on a 1969 GTO - will not bolt up with 1969 grilles. 69 bezels, however, will bolt up to a 1968, but they leave an empty gap between bezel and grill
