1969 Pontiac Firebird
I am a 77 Can Am owner. I saw this local ad offering for sale a 1969 Pontiac Firebird. I do not know anythign about this car and am only reposting the ad. Thought there might be someone here at PY wanting something like this. The car is dissambled. Body rough needing full floorpan and both rear quarters. They have many new restoration parts already includung the full floorpan and both full quarters (GM Restoration parts, front firewall, and side scoops for front cowl. Front fenders are gone as well as raditaor support. I have the doors, but rust on the inside lower portion with all glass but the windshield. Front frame section has been sandblasted and new body plates welded on. Left front suspension has been completley gone through with all new bushings. I have new shocks and bushings for the other side. I have three motors and transmission for the car. One motor is a 1970'2 Pontiac 400 with 4bbl carb and 6x heads that were overhauled to go in the car. It has never been started since overhaul. The other motors are Pontiac 400 (block rotating assy 1969?) and a Pontiac 350 (was in car when purchased). The turbo 350 transmission was rebuilt to go in the car with a new tourque converter. Interior is in decent shape all seats and center console are there. Needs carpet and headliner. Many new parts and spare engine parts as well. Has clean Missouri Title. Asking $3500. Phone 573-429-3689.
Like i said this is not my car nor I know aything about it. Might be a good deal, might not. Give the guy a call. If you find out where it is and think you are interested I might be able to go by and take pics or look at it for you. Kbars
