A friend of mine did order som parts at this vendor in january, the parts were not shipped and he sendt them an E-mail asking for an update on his order. The answer was that some parts were on back order and the order should be shipped in the beginning of april. Now it is the end of may and the order is not shipped and they at not responding on his E-mails or phonecalls. The payment was with Pay Pal but since it is over 45 days they cant help him and it seems that the money is lost. So dont do business with them!

Sorry to hear that, I ordered a bunch of parts from them without issue, hopefully it gets straightened out.

I have dealt with pro touring for parts before and never had any problems, some parts i ordered were on backorder but everything was shipped when they came in and they were very helpful with advise on the phone. I would not hesitate to buy from them again

I have worked with Dave and Pro-Touring F Body in the past with good results and response. I have several parts from him on my 73 TA. I know he travels to shows and conventions a lot so he is hard to reach sometimes. I'm not saying that bad communication is acceptable, however.

I am in same boat, been waiting since November 2010 for my lower control arms and can't put my front end together. His phone is disconnected and no E-mail reply??? Very dissapointed to say the least. I wish he would just touch base. If he hasn't lost his buisiness yet, he will soon doing buisiness this way.

i had the same problem as the original poster, ordered some upper control arms through there site, paying with paypal..The money was withdrawn the next day.Never recieved and kind of response or acknolegment from them that my order was taken. called about two weeks later. said they were real busy and backordered, so i waited a couple more weeks still never heard anything from them. Sent him a pm from here and they again said they were extremly busy but were filling out upper a -arm orders that week. Waited a few more weks with no word ,decided to cancel my order but paypay said that I excided the time limit. but i contacted my bank and they credited my account, said if anything showed up in the mail to let them know. This was all back in september -october 2010.

Bought my shaker base from them in early May. I ordered over the phone, he said it would ship early the next week and I got it that Wednesday. They did just what they said they would do. At least for me it was pain free.

Well today I phoned Dave and he answered. He is still as busy as ever and said some of the issues are with the steel and the fact that nobody has anything on the shelf due to the economy. Dave had told me last year that he was switching suppliers for the lower control arms and this coupled with the lack of steel around has put him behind. Anyway Ironicly the day I phone him my parts arrive YEAHH!.

Dave told me that all the back orders have been sent out so who ever ordered lower control arms should be seeing theirs in the mailbox soon.

Forgot to mention, the lower control arms are very nice peices and dave has assured me that these will have the correct geometry unlike his competitors. I will soon see.
